What's new in '08...

Daddy has been very disappointed with all the snow this year. He is disappointed because the girls are not yet old enough to go out and play in the snow...and of course, we have had more snow than the average amount. See below (snow after two different storms came through).

Here are a few pictures of the girls on Valentine's Day. Riley wasn't enjoying it too much and Alexis was just hoping we would get the picture!

Alexis has started to learn how to roll over. In fact, she usually likes to lay very close to Riley on her side. Here are a couple pictures of them sleeping.



Kerry watches over the girls all of the time. Here is a picture of her laying in front of the girls. In fact, a moment before this picture she was resting her head on Riley's chair.

Alexis after tummy time. It is such a joy to watch her roll! She is soooo close to crawling! We can't wait...or can we????

This is what Riley usually does during tummy time. Daddy believes she is watching Alexis and will just start crawling one day (and probably before Alexis). So, Alexis is doing all the hard work to learn how to crawl and Riley is "stealing" the notes. Is this a sign of the future?

Here is a video of the girls during tummy time. The girls are a bit camera shy and don't do anything while we are recording. We were trying to capture Alexis rolling over and of course she didn't during this recording. However, just after I turned off the camera she rolled over. As usual, Riley is in the background watching Alexis. Alexis definitely allows us to see how long she can hold her head up high. They are so fun to watch!
